Ellen Silverberg
Ellen, a native New Yorker, graduated from the prestigeous The Cooper Union in the sixties with a fine arts degree in painting. She was a co-founder of Art Gallery - Studio 53 Ltd., on Park Avenue, and continued on as the director there for 20 years until moving to East Hampton full time in 1993. She has worked in the Real Estate market since 1995 as an LSA . With her background in sales and an eye for visual design, Ellen was tapped to become the advertising, IT specialist, production manager and the behind-the-scenes wizard for HamptonsProperties.net.
In addition to her Real Estate activities with HamptonsProperties.net and Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Ellen is widely known as a painter of custom animal portraits. Her paintings have been displayed at The American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog in St. Louis, and can be can be viewed on her website, www.paintedpetportraits.com. With proceeds from her artwork she helps support animal rights and animal rescue organizations throughout the United States.
